Commercial Insurance Leader
Juan serves as NSI Insurance Group’s Senior Vice President and Commercial Insurance Leader. In his role, Juan manages over 30 colleagues across various divisions of the firm.
Prior to joining NSI, Juan managed the technology arm of March’s South Florida division where he implemented network solutions and provided classroom training on various software products. His role at March evolved into Geographic Compliance Officer where he implemented back-office operations that supported the client teams through technology, while also working on some of the largest Risk Management accounts in the office. Juan holds various Microsoft certifications, 2-20 and Surplus Lines licenses and is working on obtaining a certificate in organizational psychology.
Outside the office, Juan is involved in Autism Speaks as a mentor and actively participates in activities that promote autism awareness, support early intervention, and provide guidance for families dealing with autism.
Juan considers his second career to be a writer and practices his craft through his blog, Juan Day At A Time. He also exercises writing through other projects he has focused on through the years, including a tribute to his Cuban heritage and upbringing in a piece called Cuban, That’s All! An avid traveler, Juan loves to walk through cities meeting the locals and taking in the area’s culture.
