Oscar Seikaly, CEO of NSI Insurance Group, was interviewed on CBS News about how even homeowners who were not on the path of Hurricane Helene cannot escape insurance premium hikes. He also estimates damages in excess of $10 billion, largely because structures in Tampa Bay and areas along the Gulf Coast are older and especially vulnerable to damage.
